About The Designer
Kellie Appleyard is a silversmith and jewelry designer living in one of the most beautiful cities in the World, Vancouver, British Columbia. Inspiration is everywhere and she takes full advantage of it.
Kellie has been learning and broadening her skills over the last 7 years and did spend a month in San Miguel De Allende, Mexico under the tutelage of world-renowned metalsmith and teacher, Billy King at Sterling Quest. That experience has helped her improve her skills and inflamed her enthusiasm and creativity.
Her pieces reflect her passion for simple, easy to wear jewelry that goes from work to play effortlessly. She works mostly with sterling silver, gold and semi-precious stones but is expanding to incorporate polymer clay into her pieces. She is always working towards bettering her craft and it shows in her work. You may have seen some of her work in shows like Away and Lost Ollie or in the movie Violent Night.
It is Kellie's hope that you enjoy her pieces as much as she enjoyed creating them.
